A certificate program on history, culture and archaeology will be organized for the first time this year by AKMED (Suna & İnan Kıraç Research Center for Mediterranean Civilizations) in oldtown Kaleiçi, the heart of Antalya, between the dates November 4 and December 2, 2017. The medium of instruction of the program will be Turkish.
The event expected to contribute to national tourism, will be held at AKMED on Saturdays for 5 weeks. Participants will take lessons about the cultural history of Antalya and its surroundings from the experts in the AKMED conference room and will participate in field trips after lunch on the same day.
The program with a quota of 20 participants primarily addresses tourism professionals (guides, tour operators, managers). The aim is to contribute to the professional careers of the participants, who aim to advertise the Mediterranean Region, especially Antalya.
Since a large number of applications is expected, early applications will be considered. The program is planned to be repeated several times a year in the future.
